The 2026 4th DT New Leaf Award is a global, professional, and comprehensive award jointly organized by DT新材料 and Biobased Energy & Materials. Focused on innovation in the biobased field, it is hailed as the "Oscar of the Biobased Industry."
"New Leaf" symbolizes vigorous vitality and sustainable innovative momentum. DT新材料 uses this name to discover the pioneering forces of the biobased industry—using renewable biomass as raw materials, breaking traditional limitations with green technologies, driving the industry towards low-carbon renewal, and leading a new journey of sustainable development.

To further explore innovative application products in the bio-based field, the "2026 DT Xinye Award" has invited more than 20 experts and executives from sports footwear & apparel, automotive & parts, packaging, furniture & home appliances and other sectors to join the judging panel.The panel will conduct online evaluation of the nominated products in the third round (March 23 – March 27).

Evaluation Criteria
Organized by DT New Materials and Bio-based Energy & Materials, the DT New Leaf Award is a global, professional, and comprehensive award focusing on innovation in the bio-based field. It is dedicated to discovering, showcasing, and recognizing excellent products and enterprises in the bio-based industry.There are four award categories: Innovative Material Award, Innovative Application Award, Innovative Industry Solution Award, and Most Commercial Value Award。 To date, more than 100 innovative bio-based products have been honored with the New Leaf Awardthrough a professional jury consisting of experts from the entire industrial chain (upstream and downstream). Therefore, it has been hailed as "the Oscar of the bio-based industry."

2025 NEW LEAF AWARDS - NEWS
On May 26, 2025, the award ceremony of the 3rd New Leaf Award 2025, an innovation selection in the biobased industry sponsored by DT New Materials, was held in Shanghai.
The 3rd New Leaf Award 2025 set up four major awards: Innovative Material Award, Innovative Application Award, Innovative Industry Solution Award, and Most Commercial Value Award. A total of more than 70 products applied for this New Leaf Award. After public online voting and evaluation by 36 distinguished experts, the participating products were professionally assessed from multiple dimensions. The expert review panel of this session also invited many material experts from well-known biobased material enterprises, global leading chemical enterprises, automotive and parts, tires, packaging, outdoor sports brands, home appliances, industrial design, well-known securities and investment companies, universities and research institutes, etc.
In the end, 28 winning products were selected!
